It is commendable that the intense efforts of our respected Vicars Rev. Fr. Abraham Karamel and  Asst. Vicar, Rev.Fr. Siby Mathew Varghese are enthusiastically leading the prayer meetings. Occasionally Rev.Fr. Rajan George is also participating in the meetings. Mr. George Zachariah voluntarily leading music support whenever possible for him.

Office bearers of each prayer group are taking utmost care in conducting meetings in each area and also keeping track of offertory and reading the minutes  of previous meeting. Members are keen in attending the meetings with whole family including children which will definitely lead to spiritual growth of the church and its members.

Last  year each area prayer groups conducted their annual meeting  with great joy and excitement.  Some of them held the meetings  at residences and some at the hall at the church compound.  Members had the chance to exhibit their talents in singing, dancing, bible quiz etc.  Guest speakers or Vicars gave reflections and felicitations.  Self introduction of families  made the gathering more meaningful.  Veterans and newly married couples were honored at the meeting.  Gifts were given to the winners of different competitions held and provided dinner to all members and guests.

Vicars extended their appreciation and gratitude on behalf of the Cathedral Parish  to all the organizers and members for their participation and  wonderful efforts in making the events successful

Past two years the Christmas Carol rounds to the residences were organized at each areas by their own prayer group members including women and children. Carol group visits made families closer and  gave a flavor of oneness and team spirit among the members. Concluding session of singing  was held at the church and it was a time of sharing joy of Christmas with a festive atmosphere.
